Terms of Service

Welcome to Bible Snap. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bible Snap mobile application (the "Service") operated by Daseul Kim ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Bible Snap provides daily Bible readings and tools to create personal "snaps" — visual postcards based on passages of Scripture — for your own reflection and devotional use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bible Snap. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Account

You sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

4. Subscription Terms

Bible Snap offers an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full reading experience.

• Free trial: 7 days, after which the subscription begins automatically unless cancelled.
• Billing: Your Apple ID will be charged at the price displayed in the app at purchase. Renewal happens automatically at the end of each subscription period.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal price will be the same as the current period unless changed and notified to you in advance.
• Cancel any time: Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds: All purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Scripture Content

Scripture content used in the Service is the New International Version (NIV), © Biblica, Inc., used by permission via API.Bible. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or sell the Scripture content outside of personal use within the app.

6. Snaps You Create

Snaps you create in Bible Snap are for your personal devotional use. You retain the rights to the personalization you add. You agree not to use the Service to create, share, or display content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes others' rights.

7. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, templates, stickers, backgrounds, and software are the property of Daseul Kim and are protected by copyright. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app or its assets except as expressly permitted.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any unlawful way
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools against the Service
• Interfere with the Service's operation

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time. If we discontinue paid features, we will provide a pro-rated refund through Apple if possible.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daseul Kim is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms.

13. Apple

These Terms are between you and Daseul Kim, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Korea.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in-app or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
